Impact UK Invasion

We asked Will Ospreay about the Impact UK Invasion, and how he feels about being called upon to represent the UK in some of the biggest wrestling events of the year, as well as some of the biggest promotions. In 2023, Ospreay has wrestled in the UK representing NJPW at that company’s Royal Quest show, at AEW’s All In event at Wembley Stadium, and will now join Impact’s UK tour.

Ospreay told us, “I’m extremely proud to be waving the flag for the country in terms of wrestling over here. We never had the luxury of having weekly TV so we always grew up admiring these companies. Every time something different has come over we’ve always wanted to support it to let these companies know that our wrestling fandom over here is strong as well.”

“Four companies have toured the UK and I’ve been a representative of three of them now. That’s one of the biggest compliments I could ever ask for. Two other companies that I don’t work for, I only work for one of them, have entrusted me, not only because of my professionalism but my performance, to deliimver these big money matches that people keep talking about. I always hold it in the highest of regards, I hold it with great pride.”

Bound for Glory (2023) will take place on October 21, 2023, at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois and can be purchased on pay-per-view via Impact Plus and FITE TV.

The Impact Wrestling UK Invasion begins on Thursday, October 26th at the O2 Academy in Glasgow, before heading south to the Walker Activity Dome in Newcastle on October 27th, then finally heading to the HMV Empire in Coventry on October 28th and the 29th.
